Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-11
The short version: RattleVale has no accounts and never asks who you are. It sends anonymous play data to GameAnalytics so we can see how people play and make the game better. We never sell data, and none of it is used for advertising.
Who we are
Mergeable Pty Ltd ("we", "us" or "our") makes RattleVale, a tower defence game for phones and tablets (the "Game"). This policy covers the Game and this website.
What stays on your device
Your progress (levels won, stars, achievements, your best Endless run, which intros you've seen and whether you've bought the full game) and your settings, such as sound, are saved on your device only. We can't see them. Deleting the Game deletes them.
Play data we collect
To learn how people play, and to find levels that are too hard or too easy, the Game sends anonymous play data to GameAnalytics, our analytics provider. This includes:
- A random ID created on your device when you first play, and the ID your device gives to all apps from one maker (the identifier for vendors on iPhone and iPad, the app set ID on Android). None of these are your name, email, or your device's advertising identifier, and they can't be used to follow you into other companies' apps.
- Your device model, operating system and version, and the Game's version.
- When you play and for how long.
- What happens in each level and in Endless: when you start, win, lose or leave, the stars and lives you finish with, the wave you reached, how long it took, which heroes you hire and upgrades you buy, which foes got through, when you call a wave early, and how far you get through the tutorial.
- Visits to the store page: which level led you there, whether you tap Purchase, and whether the purchase went through, was cancelled, failed or was restored.
- Crash reports and error messages if something goes wrong in the Game.
GameAnalytics may also use the IP address your device connects from to work out a rough location, such as your country.
We use this data only to understand how the Game is played and to improve it, for example by rebalancing a level that most people lose. We look at it in aggregate, across all players.
What we don't do
- We never sell your data.
- We don't show ads or use play data for advertising.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites, and the Game never asks for tracking permission.
- We don't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
Purchases
If you buy the full game, the purchase is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. They process your payment under their own privacy policies and only tell the Game whether you've bought it. We never see your payment details.
Game Center and Google Play Games
The Game signs in to Game Center on iPhone and iPad, or Google Play Games on Android, to post your Endless scores to the leaderboard and track your achievements. Apple and Google run these services under their own privacy policies, and they show your scores and achievements under your player name. We don't receive your player details. If you'd rather not use them, you can turn them off in your device settings and the Game plays the same.
GameAnalytics
GameAnalytics processes play data on our behalf. You can read how they handle it in the GameAnalytics privacy policy.
This website
This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It's separate from the Game, and nothing collected here is linked to your play data.
Children
The Game doesn't ask for or knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. The play data described above is anonymous, and the Game collects the same data from every player.
Your choices
If you'd like the play data from your device removed, contact us and we'll ask GameAnalytics to delete it. Because it isn't linked to your name, we may need a few details from you, such as your device model and roughly when you played, to find it. You can also stop all data being sent by uninstalling the Game.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
