Mergeable Pty Ltd ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Bye Tab browser extension (the "Service"). Bye Tab closes tabs that match URL patterns you set, after a countdown you can cancel. It collects nothing.
Nothing. Bye Tab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no account and no sign-up. We have no servers involved in running the extension.
When a page loads, Bye Tab compares that tab's URL against the patterns you configured. The comparison happens inside your browser. URLs, page content, and browsing history are never sent to us or to anyone else.
These are saved using your browser's extension storage. If you have browser sync turned on, your browser may sync them to your other devices through your browser account, under the privacy policy of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. We have no access to any of it.
Bye Tab asks for access to the sites you visit so it can show the countdown card and close the tab. That access is used for nothing else. It does not read page content, fill forms, or watch what you do on a page.
No analytics, no advertising, no trackers, no third-party services of any kind.
Bye Tab does not collect any data from anyone, including children.
